In Washington State, teams of health officials are going to be randomly prowling neighborhoods for "health exams" in which they ask a series of questions about diet, exercise, access to health care and drug use, take physical measurements, a blood sample and maybe a hair sample.
For this, participants receive a gift card.
How would you react if a government official knocked on your door and wanted to give you a physical examination? How exactly would you be sure that this official was a government employee and not ... someone else?
