Authorities would be able to retain, for up to 14 days, guns seized from someone believed to be dangerous. A prosecutor could petition to extend the time the weapons are held; a court would have to rule on that request.
"We should be able to seize weapons from people who are dangerous," he said Tuesday. "Whether they are dangerous may or may not have something to do with mental illness."
I'm sorry this man died I really am but this crap scares me, and I am opposed to this legislation.
