[Ben]: | Tip for driving this summer | No discussion found | Often times, during the winter especially I make sure I have some basic supplies in the car in case I'm stuck overnight after running off the road or something. Among those supplies are a blanket, a tow rope, some basic first aid stuff and the like. I also heard that some people will keep a candle and a jar of vaseline for emergency heat. If you stick the candle into the vaseline and light it, it will burn and use the vaseline for fuel, thus creating an inexpensive and simple source of heat.
For those of you doing a lot of driving this summer, you might want to carry less emergency equipment, but don't get rid of all of it. I've found having the vaseline handy makes visits to the gas station a little less painful. |
