[Ben]:Typical Russian subtlety Discuss This [0 comments so far] View Comments
When Julian Assange decided to publish a bunch of classified US secrets, he was threatened with legal action and miffed generals. When he announced that he planned on doing the same to Russia, the reported comment was a little more direct.
"It's essential to remember that given the will and the relevant orders, [WikiLeaks] can be made inaccessible forever,"
Ivan is pulling no punches, comrade.

Unfortunately for Mr. Assange, if Russians keep talking like that, they probably won't even have to load up their poison umbrellas, bake a batch of polonium cookies, or sight in their Dragunovs. Any other country who has a reason to be miffed at Assange now just needs to copycat a Russian hit and everyone will believe it was just Putin going back into the field because he had a nostalgic fancy for a little wet work.
