One reason given is that this law "crossed a constitutional line."
Just to be clear, cities and states violate the Constitution's Second Amendment by banning firearms and they're golden, but when a state passes a law which enforces something the Federal Government already considers to be illegal and suddenly they're crossing constitutional lines?
