Beyond being strange that she hadn't set it for 0130, it was bizarre that we couldn't turn it off. Even unplugging it, and taking out the batteries didn't do the trick. I ended up throwing it in another room so we could sleep.
Cara fixed it today somehow, smart gal that she is.
Oddly, a coworker mentioned that around that time a pump for his whirlpool tub kicked on and he had to shut it off at the breaker.
