| [Ben]: | Air compressor repair | Discuss This [9 comments so far] View Comments | A few years ago, a very friendly Menards manager made me a deal I couldn't refuse on an air compressor. It has served me well, although I would love to get a few more tools for it so I could use it more often.
Recently when I was draining the tank of the water buildup, the drain plug froze in the open direction. Application of pliers resulted in a broken drain valve and a tank which would top out at 25 PSI (and only while the compressor was running).
Thankfully, Menards carries replacement drain plugs and after spending all of two minutes installing the three dollar part, I'm back up and running. I left the tank pressurized overnight and I'm going to check it when I get home from work. |
