Client: Hey Ben, can you do X?
Ben: Well ... we can, but I'm sure it'll be very expensive.
C: No problem, we've got $40,000,000.00 of government money burning a hole in our pockets.
B: Yes Sir!
B: Hey Vendor, can you do X for a client of ours?
Vendor: Well ... not really. But we can do Y!
B: That's not really good enough. Hold on one second.
... a couple of hours pass ...
B: Never mind, I can do X internally.
V: Oh X? I didn't know you meant X! Sure! We can do X! |
