[Ben]:Eagle's Nest Discuss This [0 comments so far] View Comments
I took Cara out to the Eagle's Nest at the Hyatt Regency in Indianapolis for dinner on Saturday night to celebrate our third anniversary.

I enjoyed the meal, but was not overly impressed with the food. There was nothing particularly wrong with it, there just wasn't anything special. The taste and presentation wasn't - in my opinion - up to snuff for the price.

For my entree, I had the New York Strip steak. The steak itself was a decent cut and was cooked well, but the emphasis of the dish oddly didn't seem to be the meat but rather the "port wine demi-sauce" which overpowered the (apparently) unseasoned beef. Typically I prefer my meats to not be dependent on a sweet sauce for flavor.

I did enjoy the french onion soup and the Crème brûlée, so it is possible I just picked a poor dish.

The service was acceptable and pleasant and the view was impressive.
