I've been kind of shaky on the subject due in no small part to my personal ignorance of the subject. For Commercemass, Nate bought me a copy of the FairTax book and I'm over halfway through it. I've come up with a number of questions that haven't been touched on by the book. Some of these I've submitted to Americans For Fair Taxation as questions for their expert. We'll see if I get a response.
Anyway, I'm going to try to calculate the actual impact on my family and see how it plays out under the FairTax system. |
