Apparently, well after a year past its introduction, Wii are still a hot commodity. While great for Nintendo, folks who want to buy one right now are forced to either pay way over retail to scalpers or camp out in front of loading docks at the major stores. Seriously, on the rare occasion that a store receives a shipment of Wiis, they're bought up within minutes.
Either Nintendo really screwed up their pricing model, or their production planning sucks. |
