[Ben]: | Man, oh man ... this had better not be true. | Discuss This [1 comment so far] View Comments | I have long disliked Ted Kennedy as a politician and as a person.
Politically he stands for socialist policies that I detest and advocates ever-increasing limitations on my freedom.
Personally, I don't know exactly what happened at Chappaquiddick that summer night in 1969 when Mary Jo Kopechne died. I do know that Ted was driving the car, crashed it and left Mary Jo to die. He claims he tried to save her life and I can't say otherwise, but I can say that if he really meant well, his best bet probably wasn't to swim home and get a good night's sleep before telling anyone.
Now, however, thanks to LawDog, CNSNews and Hot Air, I've learned about a possible new reason to dislike Ol' Whiskeygills. Outright treason.
As LawDog points out, this must be verified up one side and down the other, but if it does check out, then Ted Kennedy is guilty of attempting to conspire with the Soviet Union against the President of the United States. That, my friends, is punishable by death.
It'd be an odd way for Mary Jo to finally get some justice, wouldn't it? |
